To make this origami lantern first you have to make what we commonly know as origami fortune teller. Make a lot of them and then hot glue all of them on a paper lantern as shown in the photo. After that fix the lantern on a light bulb and see the magic.

Here is a tutorial on how to make a fortune teller if you don’t know the method. Fold a sheet of paper diagonally as shown. Fold it again in the same manner and cut the excess rectangular piece. Unfold the paper and you’ll see a cross. Fold all the four corners towards the centre of the cross and flip it. Fold the corners again towards the central point of the square. Fold it in half and give it a 3d shape.
