The balcony is an interesting place that combines the interior and the exterior of your building. If you want to enjoy the warm afternoons outside, at the balcony, you have to design it by your taste so the experience will be complete.

Besides relaxing and meditation, you can use the balcony for your hobbies, as a work room, playroom for the kids, social games with friends, reading, etc.

For designing your balcony, pots with plants are imperative. But be careful – the plants can not be that big if the space is small – they will suffocate the room. It is better if you choose plants with leaves and not flowers – you will avoid the mess from the dust of the pollen, and the allergies, of course!

After that you have to choose the seating furniture – and again, if the place is small – you must not choose a big sofa. In that case, you can set a pulling table and little disassembly chairs. You can also choose between floating beds, sofas, swings, etc.

Since the balcony is outdoors, you have to be careful with the choice of the materials. They have to be resistant to the weather conditions, so the most used for this space are alumina, wrought iron, and woods used in construction and shipbuilding.

For special ambient, as decoration, you can use candles, lamps, lanterns, torches, pillows scattered around…

Don’t let the balcony stay unused! It enriches the residential space, the interior and the exterior in a same time!
