To make this rug first you have to wrap a long strip of fabric around a rope in slanting manner and as you wrap the rope keep on sewing by keeping the needle in the middle of the rope. When one strip of fabric is finished attach the second and continue wrapping the rope. At the end, start making a coil of the fabric rope and sew it into a rug.
