Next, add some rocks into the can to act as a drainage system for the roots, then add some soil and finally the seed or the plant and voila – you have yourself a cute tin flower container that you can place on a windowsill or any place you find convenient.

You may have seen people doing this. If you have empty plastic bottles, why not recycle them right at home by converting them into new flower pots? In order to do this, make sure that you cute the plastic bottle in half. This will allow the shoots to grow and spread so they can reach sunlight easily as opposed to having a narrow nozzle to poke out from. You have the option to paint the plastic bottle or leave it as it is – transparent. Next, add some soil, and a plant and your pots are ready as can ever be.
This may come as a surprise to you, but teapots can be used as an alternative to pots; they actually make quite attractive alternatives due to their cute plump body.
