If you have some old photo slides lying around then how about turning them to a lampshade?

To make this lampshade first you have to punch holes on all the four sides of each slide. Then if you want paint their sides with paint. Using split rings and pliers join the slides in rows. Then take a ring and attach the rows of slides to it using split rings. Then also link the rows to each other with split rings.
